Good Evening!

I am currently the U.S Ambassador to Book to Read Foundation, an education-based non-profit based in Ghana, West Africa.

It is a proven fact that reading to your child plays a fundamental and crucial role in development, not only does enhance brain function but it expands the imagination. We in the US have always been told that you can achieve anything you wish to achieve in this life whilst having these notions backed up by a plethora of books that exhibit just that! 

Could you imagine growing up without that shred of hope? You see, most communities in Ghana lack substantial reading facilities which lead to a number of unique problems such as high illiteracy rate, poor language skills and more. These problems, thus require equally unconventional solutions. The reason that led to the establishment of @booktoreadfoundation, a state-wide initiative that gives books—free of charge—to basic school children in deprived communities between the ages of five and sixteen working towards bridging the education gap.  

I implore you all to please DONATE to this beautiful cause because knowledge is one thing that should never be unattainable. To quote Charles Darwin, “In the long history of humankind (and animal kind too) those who learned to collaborate and improvise most effectively have prevailed.” If you guys cannot donate Kindly share!
