Another year, another spelling bee! {NOV 3OTH 2018}
Last year, our pupils from two schools competed with the hopes of obtaining the two computers, and the plethora of school supplies Book to Read gave out. We even made it to page 13 of the Ghanaian Times! We accomplished all of this without any outside funding nor resources. Alas, I find it of the utmost importance that we move in the direction of corporate sponsorships. This will not only aid our current students but also help us in reaching a wider range of participants.
Some of the benefits of sponsoring the event are as follows; You will have a direct impact on the development of the youth of Ghana. The youth play a vital part in the future of a country. Therefore by contributing to the development of the youth, you are indirectly contributing to the development and sustainability of Ghana. Each sponsorship package has benefits for the sponsor built-in website advertising, social media, company’s logo on letterheads and branded T-shirt, pull-up banners, flyers etc.
In most settings, consumers are inclined to tune out advertising. albeit, working with youth programs offer a positive and engaging way to market a brand. Overall this can evoke a community-wide feeling that a company understands the impact and importance of educating children. This can actually install loyalty among a business’ current and future patrons.
The sponsorship packages include the following; First position – Certificate, laptop, dictionary and sponsorship package, First runner-up – Certificate, mini laptop, dictionary and sponsorship package, Second runner-up – Certificate, kindle, dictionary and sponsorship package, All participants – Certificate and sponsorship package. (Sponsorship packages are subject to negotiation.)
We have well over 50 children participating this year, and a mere 2 desktops as well as 3 laptops. so if you are not able to donate monetarily, we are taking used computers in good condition!
