I was beyond excited when Pax West 2023 finally arrived. There’s just something magical about being immersed in the world of video games. It is exhilarating to be surrounded by fellow gaming enthusiasts. Seattle was the perfect backdrop for this epic adventure with my sister and boyfriend. I am rather new to gaming and only play a handful of games, Uncharted, Last of Us Part one and two, It Takes Two, to name a few. I love Pax so much because I get to explore and play new games, the demos are my favorite part of the convention, it gives you the opportunity to meet passionate developers too, Which I find very adorable for lack of a better word, I love seeing people so excited about the work they do. Truly, every moment was packed with excitement.
I even got to cosplay this year! Here’s a snapshot of me and my sister in our Street Fighter 6 cosplay! Cosplay is something my sister introduced me to, I find so much joy in bringing a character to life, and I love hanging out with her!! it made the experience even more special with her there.
Outside of the convention, I explored some of Seattle’s iconic spots, like and Pike Place Market.
The mix of gaming and sightseeing made this trip truly unforgettable! if you are able, I highly suggest you check out Pax West or Pax East.
